A warm-season grass with very fine texture, Tahoma is a beautiful blue-green color grass.

Temperature Tolerance:
Tahoma 31 has a good heat and cold tolerance

Shade Tolerance:
Compared to most other Bermuda strains, Tahoma has some shade tolerance and can thrive in only 6-7 hours direct sunlight a day.
Wear Resistance:
Excellent wear recovery, and traffic tolerance.
Water Requirements:
Can survive with very little irrigation. Tahoma 31 was bred with improved drought resistance in mind
However, in order to maintain good quality turf, waterings of 1/2 to 1" inch two to three times a week depending on soil type may be required.
Disease and Insect Susceptibility:
With the exception of certain leaf feeding insects (army worms in late summer/early fall), Tahoma demonstrates tolerance or can quick recovery from damage after pest control treatments.
Recommended Usage:
Tahoma 31 is used already on many Pro sports fields and golf courses while also being a great residential grass due to its soft feel.
